The River Church hosts a young adult ministry called “The Gathering,” a community designed for young adults ages 18–29 who want to grow in their relationship with Jesus while building authentic friendships with others in the Duluth area. The group welcomes people from every stage of faith — whether you are exploring Christianity for the first time, newly following Jesus, or looking for deeper spiritual community. Gatherings are centered around worship, prayer, Bible study, and honest conversations about life and faith in a welcoming and relaxed environment.

The Gathering meets Monday evenings at 7:00 PM at Kaio Coffee, located across from the church building, and regularly rotates between worship nights, prayer gatherings, Bible discussions, and social/game nights. Led through the young adult ministry of The River Church, the group emphasizes encountering God, building discipleship-focused relationships, and creating a place where young adults can genuinely belong and grow together. The atmosphere is casual, community-oriented, and highly relational, with many events and updates shared through their social media channels throughout the year.
