Scripture Hikes are designed to combine movement, community, and time in God’s Word in a refreshing outdoor setting. On select Saturdays, we meet at a local trail and hike together at a comfortable pace, creating space for conversation and connection along the way. About halfway through the hike, we pause to gather as a group and walk through a passage of Scripture, focusing on what it reveals about God and how it applies to our everyday lives. Being surrounded by creation provides a powerful backdrop for reflection and helps us slow down enough to truly absorb what we’re studying.

After the large group discussion, we break into smaller groups along the trail for deeper discussion, honest questions, and prayer. These small groups allow for meaningful conversations and stronger relationships to form in a natural, relaxed environment. Once we make our way back to the vehicles, we take time to hang out and unwind with hot chocolate and cookies, continuing conversations and enjoying fellowship before heading home. It’s a simple but impactful way to grow spiritually while building authentic community outdoors.
